Transaction evaluation credits
A transaction evaluation credit is used when Demetrium evaluates a signed transaction against policy. One signed transaction evaluation costs one credit whether it is allowed, blocked, sent to manual review, rejected upstream after approval, or broadcast status becomes unknown.
If transaction evaluation credits run out, Demetrium does not evaluate or broadcast the signed transaction. The request returns insufficient_transaction_credits and can be retried after credits reset or capacity is updated.
Non-credit RPC/API quota
Non-credit quota covers general RPC/API traffic such as read-only RPC calls, dashboard reads, logs, unsupported methods, malformed authenticated traffic, and expensive reads. It protects shared infrastructure and is separate from transaction evaluation credits.
If non-credit quota is exceeded, Demetrium limits general RPC/API traffic until the quota window resets. Signed transaction evaluations still require credits and may also be subject to burst protection.
